This initiative, co-led by the Italian G7 Presidency and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), aims to foster AI innovation in Africa, with Mozambique as one of the participating countries.

Eligible applicants must be:
- Based in Mozambique (or other pilot countries: Algeria, DRC, Côte D’Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Morocco, Tunisia)
- Developing AI innovations aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals
- Addressing challenges in compute, talent, or data
- Committed to responsible AI practices
