Un Ponte Fatto ad Arte — Applications now open for artist workshops! (deadline: 15 April)

Applications are now open for the workshop programme of the Un Ponte Fatto ad Arte project!

An initiative, part of the MOZITA 2026 programme, aimed at building real bridges between Italy and Mozambique through training, artistic production and authentic cultural exchange. Three workshops will take place over the course of 2026, aimed at young artists from all disciplines, followed by a final presentation.

The initiative is open to all artistic disciplines.
Participation is completely free of charge.
Transport and meals will be provided throughout the duration of the workshops.

Un Ponte Fatto ad Arte is a project of the Mission Unit for Cultural Cooperation with Africa and the Wider Mediterranean – Mattei Plan of the Ministry of Culture, the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity and the National Museums of Perugia – Regional Directorate of Museums of Umbria, and the Embassy of Italy in Maputo.

Implemented in collaboration with: School of Communication and Arts (ECA), UNESCO (Maputo delegation), Fundação Fernando Leite Couto, Núcleo de Arte, Mafalala Museum, ISArC – Higher Institute of Arts and Culture, and Galeria Arte d’Gema.
