The Italian Embassy in Maputo informs that contributions are available, offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, for travel and stays of researchers, professors, experts, and cultural operators. These funds are intended for both Italian citizens and residents in Italy invited by foreign institutions, as well as foreign citizens invited by Italian institutions.
Applications must be received by July 31, 2025, and activities must take place by November 15, 2025.
Who can apply
- Italian citizens or foreign residents who have been living in Italy for at least two years invited abroad by foreign universities or cultural institutions.
- Foreign citizens or Italians residing abroad invited by Italian universities or cultural institutions for research or study purposes.
Contribution amount
- Standard destinations: €250/day for the first 5 days, €50/day from the 6th to the 10th day (max €1,500).
- Distant destinations (Asia, Americas, Africa excluding the MENA region): €350/day for the first 5 days, €250/day from the 6th to the 10th day (max €3,000).
- Maximum stay period: 10 days of effective cultural/research activities.
After the visit Within 10 days of completing the visit, applicants must submit:
- Travel documents (tickets, boarding passes).
- Certificate of stay issued by the host institution.
- Final report on activities carried out.
