Yesterday, 25 August, the documentary “Under the Sky of Mozambique”, produced by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with LaPresse, was presented at the Meeting di Rimini.
The documentary tells the story of Italian Development Cooperation’s work in the country through the testimonies of Italian officials and beneficiaries involved in development projects: from the Mamanas School in the Chamanculo district, to the Regenera project, which is revitalising several districts of the capital, Maputo, and the long-standing projects implemented on Inhaca Island. Among the initiatives featured is also the Rino project, carried out in collaboration with the Sapienza University of Rome.
As Ambassador Gabriele Annis recalled in the documentary, beyond the tangible development achieved for the benefit of the Mozambican people, “the great benefit of Italian development cooperation is, above all, to foster a mutually enriching relationship between two nations that have been friends for a long time.”
