2nd Edition – Call for Applications A.Y. 2026-2027

For the 2026-2027 academic year, the MAECI (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation) will offer up to a maximum of 20 scholarships worth €9,000 each. These will last for 9 months, starting from October 1, 2026.

Each winner may apply to renew the scholarship for the second year of study through a specific call for applications that will be published during the 2026-27 academic year, provided they have obtained at least 36 university credits (CFU) by September 30, 2027.

Applications for the 2nd edition of the program are open from June 3, 2026, until June 30, 2026, at 12:00 PM (Rome time).

The application procedures are outlined in Art. 5 of the CALL FOR APPLICATIONS.

1st Edition – Renewals A.Y. 2026-2027

Scholarship holders from the 1st edition of the program (2025-2026 edition) who wish to continue their studies in the 2026-2027 academic year may apply to renew their scholarship for the second year of study. To do so, they must have passed exams corresponding to at least 36 university credits by September 30, 2026.

By that date, interested applicants must send their application to the email concorsi.ammissione@uniroma4.it , accompanied by a copy of their passport and a transcript of the exams taken.

When applying for the scholarship renewal, the student must also submit an internship project. Failure to submit this project does not, in itself, prevent the renewal of the scholarship; however, it is expected that the internship activity will be fully completed by the end of the second year of the Master’s course.
