The Italian Embassy in Maputo announces two prestigious English-taught Master’s degree programmes offered by the School of International Studies at the University of Trento, with scholarships available for Mozambican students.
Available programmes:
Master’s in International Security Studies (MISS), developed in collaboration with the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, for those wishing to explore global security, international conflicts and diplomacy.
Master’s in European and International Studies (MEIS), for those seeking to specialise in international relations, European institutions and global governance.
Scholarships: For the 2026/2027 academic year, 2 scholarships are available for each programme, worth €7,200 per year. Tuition fee waivers are also available for a broader number of high-achieving students. A dedicated scholarship is reserved for descendants of Trentino emigrants.
Application deadline for non-European candidates: 4 March 2026.
