Selections for the 2020/2021 edition of the Italian Programme of Associate Experts and Young Officials of International Organizations (JPO – Junior Professional Officers Programme) are now open.
The Program involves, at the end of a selection process managed by the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations (UNDESA), the recruitment for two years of young Italian officials in International Organizations, as a contribution to their activities in favor of sustainable development. The young officials will be classified in the international civil service P2 category of the United Nations system.
As well as for the previous editions of the Programme, in addition to the positions dedicated to Italian candidates, a limited number of positions have been reserved to candidates of nationality of one of the 59 countries indicated in the call, including the group of ”Least Developed Countries (LDCs)” and the priority countries for Italian development cooperation. The list of these countries is available in the call for applications published on the UNDESA website (http://www.undesa.it/index.php/jpo-programme/requirements/ ) and in the relevant section of the MAECI website.
