In order to help people living far from Maputo, we would like to inform you that the Consular Office provides a number of services that can be carried out without the need to physically go to the Embassy.
In the respective sections of the Consular Services you will find detailed information on how to send a simple e-mail:
- the application for registration on the Aire (Registry of Italians Residing Abroad) and the updating of your address of residence in Mozambique, Botswana or Eswatini;
- the authorization of the other parent for the issue of the passport for those who have underage children;
- the request for an accompanying certificate for minors up to 14 years of age travelling alone or with persons other than their parents;
- requests for affidavits/birth certificates for minors travelling to South Africa;
- the request for the attribution of the tax code.
